Recently purchased your PoE kit from Amazon:

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AH5XCLC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl

…but we are having trouble with it. We tested it to only provide 4.8V at the USB end when using 20 feet of CAT5e cable. We also tested with 25 feet of CAT6 cable with similar results.

When we attempting to power a Raspberry Pi, but we found that 4.8V is so near the lower operating limits of the Pi that we are having issues as a result. If one of our sensors connected to the Pi is turned on then the Pi has power troubles.

If we do the same setup but without the PoE kit, then everything works fine.

Is there a way to bump up the voltage to the advertised 5V?

Any help would be much appreciated.

The output voltage should not be less than 5v, so the splitter may be damaged. Please contact us through our returns/exchanges page so that we can ship a replacement:

    Thanks!
